Rocket Singh - Ethical Business

Rocket Singh is a movie that shows how business can be done ethically and still one can earn profit. The movie is different from the other Yash Raj movies where you would find love stories and family drama centric movies.

Rocket Singh is based on the fact that in today's world business runs better when done ethically and when the employees are treated as people and not just resources who are there to achieve some target number for business.

Ranbir Kapoor has proven that he is indeed a Kapoor by another fantastic role that he has played in this movie. He is definitely one of the upcoming heros in Bollywood.

This movie also implicitly indicates that the world of corruption is no longer favored by today's educated people and that it has to end now.

Over all a great movie with fantastic dialogues, touching scenes and a good background music score. A must watch for those who like to see this world come up above all the dirty politics and corruption in today's world.

Faith and Spirituality

It is a world wide debatable topic about Faith and Spirituality with regards to its understanding and principles.

There are various lookouts that people have about Faith and Spirituality. For some it is just being happy and for some it is making others happy.

All debates on this topic end on no conclusion and neither of the participating people agree to the other's point of view.

What people do not realize is that no one can convince another about the views on Faith and Spirituality as it is an individual thing and will never match with another person in this world. This is what makes each person different in this world as they have different principles in life by which they try to attain Spirituality.

The day when a person realizes that he or she cannot tell what they experience or feel being spiritual is the day the person gains some degree of spirituality and there is no measurable level for spirituality so one cannot say that one person is more spiritual than a second person.

Recently I witnessed a huge discussion or I can say debate on this topic between two of my very good friends which has spawn the thought to write this down.

The conclusion is Faith and Spirituality are relative measures and vary in understanding from person to person. This is why we live in this world to try to understand Faith and Spirituality but the fact is as per me every one knows this and he or she just has to know that he or she knows.

7/11 Mumbai Blasts!!!

These snaps just give us a visual of the horror act of Mumbai blasts that took place on 11 July 2006 which is now termed as 7/11 (following the trend of naming as for 9/11). This is how terror unravelled itself in Mumbai. More than 200 people were killed and more than 500 injured. But I guess numbers do not matter. Why should even one of them have died or injured? Just so that the terrorists can make Mumbai halt, just because some political mind wants to play a game or just because of some freak out bunch of people who think that killing people is fun!!!
All of media went on after this event as usual after any such thing happens. Every news channel and paper stated how well Mumbai people helped each other in times of trouble and still after all this went in the same local trains for work the next day as nothing had happened.
All this is fine and good but only this one-ness in people and helping each other out is not going to help to stop these terrorists attacks or whatever it is. As the world is growing bigger, there is no way that anyone can blame any person without undesputable proof regarding such things happening and neither can these things be stopped by any much of security.
There is only one way out of this. People of the world should love each other and respect GOD's will of giving life to someone. People should know that it is not they who have the right to destroy other poeple's life on the basis of false claims lie 'GOD has chosen me to end this reign of the atheists or satan'. Every bad thing in this world is a crop up of Human mind. Scientifically humans use only 2 to 3 % of their brains and of that too mostly destructive things are born.
If any person who reads this and who is a terrorist or who thinks that he/she has the right on other people's lives, please stop thinking this way. If people love each other and care for each other then all the causes of social and economical drawbacks will vanish like poverty,racial discrimination,population explosion,pollution,etc. If a couple would think before they would try to give birth to a child that this earth has a balance for the population all the living species and only human population is going the J-curve path rather than the S-curve path, then they might think twice for it, imagining the problems faced due to growing population. For me, population growth is the basic reason of all evils. If population would be controlled then all evils will end. Its difficult for me to explain the role of population in the evils of this world in this place as it is very vast and complex but if anyone just thinks about it, he/she will surely realize what I am trying to say.
I just pray to GOD that maybe one day this world will be filled with loving and caring people and that they will live happily and peacefully.

Rains grab Mumbai again!!!

Just as Mumbai people were fearing that the rains this year will be as heavy as last year and the situation that happened on 26th July 2005 will repeat again, this year the first week of july gave a similar feel to Mumbaites.
Again it rained continuously and heavily for about four days making life in Mumbai come to a standstill and dragging people of Mumbai back in their homes. As BMC makes false claims of work being done in the city to avoid such situations to occur, it has become evident that if such rains come again, then people are going to face the same troubles again.Here are some of the pics depicting the way transport was affected this year during the four days of devastating rains.

FANAA : The Movie

Apart from all the issues revolving around Aamir Khan, I went to see this movie. It is not one of my choices to watch love theme movies but this just because Aamir and Kajol were there in this movie I went to watch it.
The first half was all a love story and I was literally thinking why I came to see this movie. I somehow did not like the situation that had been created. But after the intermission, the movie was good, especially the kid who was the son of Aamir and Kajol in the movie.
Overall the movie theme was fine but not like the other Aamir movies. The songs were also not that great. The best song was "Chaand Sifaarish jo karta hai...". I guess Aamir should stick to theme movies instead of love based.
